The Digital Bits website is reporting this morning that the upcoming DVD release of
Buck Rogers (next Tuesday, Nov. 16th) contains a sales booklet advertising various upcoming products. Among them are TV shows that we've already known to be coming in 2005:
Leave It To Beaver, Amazing Stories (delayed from its original Nov. 2004 release date), and
Kojak (also delayed from 2004).
Something new among those titles listed by The Bits, though, is a mention of
Woody Woodpecker! Yes, our favorite animated
drycopus pileatus (pileated woodpecker) seems to be headed to DVD in 2005.
That's really all that was said, but the heads-up is certainly appreciated! The Bits also had some "Bionic" info, but we'll post news about that separately...we wanted to mention
Woody Woodpecker by itself. Stay tuned, and we'll let you know more about this upcoming release, once Universal makes the info available.
