Last week
we had rumors that Lionsgate would release the complete
series on
October 12. Lionsgate has made that official now, and have released more information on the sets. Yes, plural, as the show will be released on both DVD and, for the first time, Blu-ray.
Both sets will include a Widescreen (1.78:1) transfer, with Dolby Digital 5.1 and Spanish Stereo tracks on the DVD, or English DTS-HD Master Audio and Spanish Stereo tracks on the Blu-ray. Extras for both sets include:
- Includes 29 Audio Commentaries with the Show Creators!
- "The Making of WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN" Featurette
- "The Inner Circle: Reflections on WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN" Featurette

Suggested retail price for the DVD is $29.98, while the BD is $44.99. The releases aren't available to preorder yet, but we have a look at the DVD and BD artwork:
