Within the past couple of weeks we've posted
one report announcing
Wolverine & the X-Men - Volume 3, and
a second report about how the
Wolverine & the X-Men - Volumes 1-3 Giftset will be coming out on the same date. Both arrive on
November 3rd from Lionsgate Entertainment. Today our retailer contacts have been able to provide updates and package art for us about each of these!
Cost for
Wolverine & the X-Men - Volume 3 is $14.98 for 110 minutes. The disc includes 5 episodes: Future X, Greetings from Genosha, Past Discretions, eXessive Force, and Battle Lines. Extras consist of Audio Commentary with Craig Kyle, Greg Johnson and Chris Yost, plus a Trailer Gallery and Episode 1 of the Motion Comic titled "Astonishing X-Men: Gifted." Audio is provided in both English 5.1 Dolby Digital Audio and Spanish 2.0 Audio, and there are English and Spanish subtitles as well. It will also be closed captioned for the hearing impaired. Package art is shown below, and the design you see there will be on a glossy, embossed "o-ring" card that the DVD case slides into.
We don't have pricing yet for the
Wolverine & the X-Men - Volumes 1-3 Giftset release yet. But we do know that the on-disc contents (291 minutes of episodes, plus extras) will be the same as the individual volume releases. They will be compiled into a new outer "bookcase sleeve" package (i.e., a slipcase, shown at bottom). However, there will be an additional goody in the set: "
a unique collectible WXM Laser Cell, while supplies last!"
