Trade periodical "Video Store Magazine"
reported here within the last few weeks that producer Stephen J. Cannell is working on bringing out a fan-favorite series. To quote the article:
Cannell's own company is looking into releasing "Wiseguy" on DVD. "People are constantly asking about it," he said. "The fans of that show were intense."
This "Talent Talk" article was an interview with Cannell, that was a sidebar to a feature article discussing the success of TV-on-DVD releases. In the interview, Cannell also mentions owning his own PERSONAL copies on DVD of shows like "The Rockford Files" and "Baa Baa Black Sheep." We can only hope that those series, like "Wiseguy," is also being eyed for retail distribution in our favorite digital format!
