This past October we
reported that VEI (Visual Entertainment Inc.) was working on a DVD release of
Wing Commander Academy - The Complete Series, with a planned release date in Canada of March 6th. When last we heard, the studio wasn't sure if the Canadian release date for that title, or any other upcoming items scheduled for north of the border, would make it out on time: VEI's distributor up there, Vivendi Entertainment of Canada, was
purchased by eOne back in November, and VEI is currently in the process of working out a new distribution deal for that country. That ought to be finalized in the near future, we're told, and so if the Canadian street date for this moves as a result, we'll certainly let you know! In the meantime VEI's distributor state-side, Millennium Media Services (MMS), has scheduled a release date
in the USA of May 29th. Cost in the States will be $24.98 SRP.
