Kris Furillo (Genevieve Cortese), having just served time at a juvenile detention center for grand theft auto and resisting arrest, is offered a job at the Ritter's family ranch after Pablo Betart (Greg Serano), a center volunteer who teaches inmates to ride, notices Kris' unusual talent with horses - especially the horse Wildfire, with whom Kris has bonded.
Last week we brought you the
press release from Lionsgate Entertainment and Amazon/Create- Space, announcing that they've partnered on a deal to release Lionsgate films and TV shows through the CreateSpace manufacture-on-demand (MOD) program. The first TV title coming will be
Wildfire - Season 4 (the show's final season, and the only one not yet on DVD). Although a ship date wasn't named outright, the press release certainly made it sound like tomorrow,
December 13th would be the schedule for that. The problem is, Amazon.com's pre-order listing for the title (see button link below) doesn't yet list that as a date...or any other date, for that matter. On the other hand, they do now have a look at the front cover art, so we've got that for you right here. Check it out:
UPDATE (12/13): As you probably have noticed,
Wildfire - Season 4 didn't begin shipping today after all. Our contact with CreateSpace informs us about the reason why by saying, "
we had originally expected to release the titles listed on 12/13, but due to production delays Amazon will be releasing them on a later date. However, Wildfire is orderable now." They say we'll be let know immediately as soon as there's a confirmed new street date that we can share with you, our readers. Stay tuned!
