let you know a month ago that Amazon had begun taking pre-orders for an undated (at the time) release of
White Collar - The Complete 1st Season on both
DVD and high-def
Blu-ray Disc. Today Fox Home Entertainment announced the title, in both formats, to retailers, and we've got the release date and other new details, plus package art now for the Blu-ray version as well as the DVD (seen at bottom).
The street date for
White Collar - The Complete 1st Season is
July 13th, with video in widescreen (and in high def on the Blu-ray Disc version). Audio is listed as English 5.1 Dolby Digital, and subtitles in English, French and Spanish (
the studio information doesn't actually specify if this is for the DVD, the Blu-ray, or for both UPDATE: the studio has confirmed that the specs provided are for the DVD, and the BD is the same except for audio being English 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio). The DVD ($59.98 SRP) comes on 4 discs, and the Blu version ($69.99 SRP) is a 3-disc set. Bonus material consists of a Gag Reel, Deleted Scenes, and three Featurettes: "Pro and Con," "A Cool Cat in the Hat," and "Nothing But the Truth."
