The Weird Al Show coming to DVD. Thanks to each and every one of you who took the time to send a note...but reader Tyler Foster beat you all by hours, so he gets the shout-out here.
The Official "Weird Al" Yankovic Web Site is telling us that Al's weekend kid show is on the way to DVD this year, chock full of extras! Let's just let the man do the talking. Here's Al's words:

Holy cow... really? You mean the entire 13-episode run of Al's 1997-98 CBS Saturday Morning kids' show, in a spiffy DVD package with commentaries and junk?? Yes, that's exactly what we mean. The good folks at Shout! Factory will be releasing it later this year... stay tuned!
Hey, that's our line! Oh, well...we were hoping to get a quote from Shout! to accompany this story, but it's no surprise that we were unable to reach them on the phone late on a Friday afternoon. We'll get more info from them just as soon as we can, though, so - errrr - stay tuned!
