CBS/Paramount continues to have faith in
Walker, Texas Ranger on DVD: this morning they have formally announced a
February 19th release of
The 4th Season on DVD. Since the studio considers this an eight season series, and has already put out
The Final Season on DVD, that means there are only seasons five, six and seven left to go after this one!
This season should contain 26 episodes, including (we hope) the double-length special "Sons of Thunder," which would serve as a pilot episode for the CBS series of the same name...which took two more years to materialize as a spin-off of
Walker, Texas Ranger, and then only lasted for about a half-dozen episodes. Running time for this set is 1222 minutes, and will include guest stars such as Robert Vaughn, Richard Herd, Burt Young, Maud Adams, Mila Kunis, Mako, Dan Lauria, Noble Willingham and more. Here's the box art:
