Recently we had
the heads-up from Timeless Media Group's official website that
Wagon Train - The Complete 6th Season is coming to DVD next March. Now that text at their site has been updated to show a specific release date of
March 5th for this title! What's more, TMG has also added word to expect
Wagon Train - The Complete 8th Season on DVD in
Summer 2013.
Where's the show's seventh season, though? Why, that's been available on DVD since 2008, as TMG's release titled
Wagon Train - The Complete Color Season. For those who don't recall, this show took the unusual step of being in black-and-white for six seasons, then went to color for the seventh season, then went back to black-and-white for the program's 8th and final season. It's hard to comprehend that these days, but this was the reality of the era.
