Jon-Erik Hexum and Meeno Peluce starred in 1982's Voyagers!, the story of time-traveler Phineas Bogg who is supposed to be running around history and correcting events that somehow went wrong, but who starts out by landing in young Jeffrey Jones' bedroom instead. Luckily, Jones is a whiz at history, and just the companion Bogg needs for his missions! Together they travel through time, to help history along, give it a push where it's needed.
Fans of this show, myself (and my brother!) included, have been wanting this show on DVD for a long time, and Universal is finally making history on July 17th. The 4-disc set runs just over 16 hours for all 20 episodes, and cost will be $49.98 SRP. Video is full-frame, audio is English mono, and English subtitles are also on board. Look for lots of guest stars, including Ed Begley Jr., Faye Grant, NFL star Dan Pastorini (anyone remember him besides my brother and I?), Shannen Doherty, Ken Swofford, a very young Nicky Katt, Lance LeGault, Mako, Jonathan Frakes, Anne Lockhart, Dana Elcar, David Graf, Michael Ensign, and Julia Duffy.
