Over three months ago we
first reported that
Voltron: Defender of the Universe - Collection 3: Green Lion would have a release date of February 27th. Now, BestBuy.com has removed their listing for the release, and
the listing at Amazon.com now says "
Release date to be announced:The release date for this DVD has not been finalized."
We've had LOTS of readers write in and mention this to us (thanks to each of you), and so we talked to Media Blasters and asked them what's goin' on? We were told that the set has been pushed back to
May, but the person we spoke to doesn't know yet what the reason is for the delay. He's checking into that for us, and also for a specific release date. Right now Media Blasters' system shows "May 7th," but that's a Monday, so we're assuming they mean the 8th right now. However, let's consider that a placeholder date until we get confirmation. Some online retailers might show the 7th in the meantime, though, but you'll know why.
