Voltron: Defender of the Universe - Collection 1: Blue Lion is heading our way on
September 26th, and we're all sitting on pins and needles waiting for it! But with just 61 days left until that comes out (according to the countdown clock at VoltronDVD.com), we can begin to turn our attention to the NEXT release to come out after that!
With Blue up first, we've got to finish forming feet and legs, so Yellow would be next in line. And according to our friends at RightStuf.com,
Voltron: Defender of the Universe - Collection 2 (which we assume is Yellow Lion, due to our reasoning above) is being readied by Media Blasters for DVD release on
November 21st, for a $39.95 SRP. Running 350 minutes, it is listed as containing episodes 16-30 of the original series. Here's the description:
The evil Prince Lotor of Planet Doom has come to destroy Planet Arus and take Princess Allura to be his slave. The Voltron Force, Keith, Lance, Pidge and Hunk pilot the Black, Red, Green and Yellow Lions to defend the peacful planet. With Princess Allura in the Blue Lion, they form Voltron and destroy Lotor's robeasts.
Frusturated, Lotor targets Planet Pollux, and Allura's cousin Romelle. Can Voltron defend two entire planets at once? And what will happen to the Voltron Force after a poisened blade leads to Princess Allura's funeral?
