Yesterday we
posted news about
Voltron - Set 1 on DVD, which will arrive in stores on
September 26th. We told you in that story that "
the rumors that we hear at TVShowsOnDVD about that is that Media Blasters would like to try to put these out in some nice collectable tins." Well, it's more than a rumor now: we've got pics below taken from a concept film of a "Lion's Head"-shaped package that is the proposal for the collectable tin!
Not long after we posted that news, one of our readers saw it and new it was more than gossip. Jordana Kocher wrote in to point us toward
an out-of-the-way spot at VoltronDVD.com, which is Media Blaster's site for info about the upcoming releases. If you click on the trailer called "Tin Concept", you'll see in motion a very cool demonstration of what Media Blasters' designers want to accomplish.
