A few weeks ago we
reported that
Voltron: Defender of the Universe - Collection 7, the second "Vehicle Force" title, would be coming to DVD on December 23rd. Then, a few days later we
found out that the first Vehicle Force DVD title,
Voltron: Defender of the Universe - Collection 6: Air Team, was delayed due to production issues (we've heard that the delay was due to materials and related scheduling problems with getting the packaging produced).
So
Collection 6 was moved to the December 23rd slot, and that left
Collection 7 with a release planned for sometime after the first of the year, probably in January. Well, according to the
pre-order listing at Amazon, Media Blasters has now pinned down
Voltron: Defender of the Universe - Collection 7 to a specific release date of
January 13th. All content is as previously reported. We're still waiting on the package art for it, however (along with knowing if the subtitle for #7 will be "Land Team" or "Sea Team"). If you haven't locked in your copy of it, then you can do so at the link we've just provided above.
