We've got a quick bit of word for fans of the classic cowboy series, The Virginian, starring James Drury and Doug McClure: we've heard rumors that this classic show is coming to DVD! And with that gossip going about, we've poked around a bit, asking certain studios (y'all can guess at which ones) for confirmation and details. But all we were told is that nothing is finalized yet, and therefore it would be premature for us to speculate on content/extras, pricing, release dates...or even to say which studio might be putting it out.
However, the good news is that fans of James Drury's signature series can hopefully look forward to the long-awaited DVD release of NBC's legendary cowboy series, sometime within the next year if all goes well. But right now, we're told, nothing is for-sure yet. So just stay tuned for for now, and we'll getcha more details about it, when all the contracts are signed, the ink is dry and it's all a done deal.
