The Venture Bros. - Season 3 is coming to DVD and hi-def Blu-ray Disc on
March 24th, per information posted over at IGN. Now the studio has provided us with a formal press release and high resolution package art for both versions of this title. Our thanks to our friend Josh Dreuth at Blu-ray.com for his assistance with bringing you this, as well as to the folks at the publicity team for the studio.
Immediately below, before the text of the press release, is a new "overlapping" picture of both boxes together. Again, these are meant to resemble the old Atari VCS (a.k.a. Atari 2600) videogame box designs. And yeah, they've built some "creases" and "crushes" into the box design, making them look aged (like many Atari packages would be these days...but not MY Atari boxes!). The Venture Bros. Season 3 features all 13 uncensored episodes from the show's highly popular third season and bonus material including deleted scenes and commentary. Additionally, the Blu-ray disc box set will be packaged with an exclusive CD which includes 20 tracks that comprise the full musical score from the television series' third season.
