A week ago we
first reported that
Ugly Betty - The Complete 1st Season: The Bettyfied Edition would be coming to DVD this fall, and showed off a small peek at the box art for it (
Update: large artwork is below now). Now the folks at Amazon.com have
a pre-order listing for it, with a release date shown for
August 21st. SRP shown is $59.99, but Amazon's current pre-sale price is just $41.99! Stay tuned for Disney/Buena Vista's official announcement, which we expect tomorrow; we'll update you if there's any additional information.

The Hollywood Reporter reports the following about extras:
"...The six-disc set contains all 23 episodes as well as an exhibit of some of the first season's best and worst fashions, a Spanish audio track, a discussion with the cast on the show's origins and a behind-the-scenes documentary with the show's production, costume and set designers."
