We've
reported before about the 1985 version of
The Twilight Zone, which is heading to DVD later this year for the first time. It's coming from Image Entertainment, which is also bringing out new season-by-season box sets of the original 1959 version of the show as well.
In our
report earlier today about the first
Twilight Zone's DVD re-re-re-release on 12/28, we quoted a
USA Today story that discussed details of that set. They also talked about the release of 1985's
The New Twilight Zone.
Here is what they said:
Image will release all 63 episodes of the mid-1980s Twilight Zone as well, with season one ($70) also slated for release Dec. 28. Seasons 2 and 3 will be packaged together in one box set ($70) slated for release in March.
Stay tuned, and just as soon as we get official info and cover art direct from the distributor, Image Entertainment, we'll bring it directly to you.
