With news within the past few weeks for both
the original Twilight Zone (1959) and
The New Twilight Zone (1985) (not to mention Rod Serling's
Night Gallery), our readers have been pestering us for updates to the 2002 version of
Twilight Zone. After all, we've said nothing since
our bean-spilling last March.

JUNE 18 | New Line Home Entertainment is rolling out UPN series The Twilight Zone as its inaugural TV title on DVD on Sept. 7.
The Forest Whitaker-hosted show--an updated twist on the classic TV series by the same name--lasted just one season in 2002-03.
Yet New Line believes the slew of such guest stars as Jessica Simpson, Usher and Shannon Elizabeth within the 43 included episodes will propel sales.
"There's a fan base here. There were fun people involved," said Matt Lasorsa, executive VP marketing at New Line Home Entertainment. "And it was the highest rated series UPN had in four years in males 18-49."
The home entertainment unit is eyeing future partnerships with studios to distribute more TV titles in the future. Twilight Zone, with pre-orders due Aug. 10, is priced at $59.98 for the six-disc set.
