Earlier this week Showtime/Paramount announced the USA "complete series" release of the show, but what about folks north of the border? We've gotten word that Phase 4 Films is preparing their own version for them, and it will even be available a few weeks earlier! November 9th sees the Canadian release of The Tudors - The Royal Collection: The Complete Series Uncut. This will be a 13-DVD set including unedited episodes from all four seasons, plus all the bonus material that was found on Phase 4's individual season sets. Video is anamorphic widescreen, and audio options include English 5.1 Surround Sound and French 2.0 Stereo. It is also closed captioned for the hearing impaired, and it has a running time of 2154 minutes. Cost is CA$199.99 SRP, but you can pre-order it at a discount from the Amazon.ca button link below. Underneath that is a look at the special foiled and embossed packaging for this release. No word has surfaced yet about a Blu-ray Disc release of this title...just DVD at this time. If we find out differently, however, we'll be sure to let you know!
