Phase 4 Films has announced that they will release
The Tudors - The Complete 4th Season: Uncut Edition in Canada on
November 9th, for both standard DVD and high-def Blu-ray Disc formats. Each of these 3-disc sets will include Extras in the form of an Interview with writer Michael Hirst, a Blooper Reel, Deleted Scenes and a 500th Anniversary Special. Running time is 645 minutes, with widescreen video (in 1080p high definition on the Blu-ray edition), and English 5.1 Surround Sound.
Cost for this final season set is CA$74.99 SRP on DVD, and CA$84.99 SRP for the Blu-ray Disc set. Amazon.ca has not listed these for pre-order yet, but once they do we'll provide the links for our readers (for USA fans who want the BD-format release, which Showtime/Paramount is not currently making available in the States, you'll be able to log in to Amazon.ca with your Amazon.com user name and password, and import that title...it will work just fine on your off-the-shelf Blu-ray player since it's all in the same "region").
