It's getting a bit late to post news today...but maybe we were waiting for the sun to go down before writing up this one! A week and a half ago we brought you your first look at
package art (seen again below) for
True Blood - The Complete 2nd Season on both
DVD and high-def
Blu-ray Disc formats. These have been available to pre-order from Amazon since the second season had its on-air debut last summer, but even so, we haven't known the release date for these sets...until now, that is! We're still waiting on the official notification from HBO and their distrbutor, Warner Home Video, but the word from our reliable retail sources is that both of these will rise from their coffins on
May 25th. Note, however, that this schedule could still *possibly* change by the time the studio makes their formal announcement. But our sources feel pretty confident that this is the date you can, ahem, drive a stake into, which is why they are passing it along. If anything changes, we'll certainly let you know, but right now we feel good about marking it on calendars. Stay tuned for updates about bonus material and anything else we find out!
