The voices of Stephen Root (
NewsRadio, King of the Hill), Maurice LaMarche (
The Real Ghostbusters, Pinky and the Brain) and John Melendez (
The Tonight Show, Howard Stern's "Stuttering John") return for the third season of the CGI animated series
Tripping the Rift. And it may be no surprise to long-time fans that a new voice actress takes over the role of "Six of One"; a different actress has played the part in each season.
The 2000 "pilot" had both Patricia Beckmann and Terry Farrell (
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) lay down tracks. The first regular season in 2004 saw Gina Gershon (
Bound, Showgirls) voice the part. The second season in 2005 had Carmen Electra (
Baywatch, Scary Movie 4) take over. Now, in the third and latest season of the series, the role has gone to Jenny McCarthy (
Singled Out, Scream 3).
