A few days ago we received a reader e-mail from "Jerome" (only name provided), giving us a street date for
One Tree Hill - The Complete 4th Season. He didn't provide us with any sources for that date, nor would he respond to any of our requests for info about where he found out about this. Frankly, we almost dropped the matter right then and there.
But, on an off chance, we checked around at a few smaller online retailers that will, sometimes, get information about a release before the big-name e-tailers. We got a hit at
TLAVideo.com, where a pre-order listing is up for
One Tree Hill - The Complete 4th Season. It had the same date Jerome spoke of, and then we managed to get our contacts at Warner to confirm that date:
September 25, 2007.
The studio didn't volunteer any further info, but TLA Video's listing has some more details about the set: cost is $59.99 SRP, for 21 episodes that run 945 minutes. Also included - per TLA - are the following extras:
