Previously we had stated that
Transformers Season 3, Part 1 would be available in August.
Thanks to a variety of informants, we became aware yesterday that Rightstuf.com, a website well-known among Anime fans ("Your Anime Superstore and Web Resource"), has just begun carrying pre-order listings for
Transformers Season 3 DVDs.
All four entries show a release date of
September 9th. The 3-disc box set, which presumably holds roughly 15 of the 30 episodes from that season, has a list price shown of $49.95. The 3 discs sold separately have an SRP of $19.95 each. This pricing matches the information we had from the previous news article.
No further details are posted there yet; the only real new information is a solid date. We'll pencil it in on our calendars here, for sure, and keep you posted when more details come through. We can finally own great digital copies of "The Five Faces of Darkness" and "Starscream's Ghost"? You betcha...this fall!
