Sharp-eyed readers know that we've already mentioned in last month's
big Paramount news bulletin that
February 22nd would see the release of
Transformers: Energon - Shockblast Unleashed and
Transformers: Energon - Omega Supreme on DVD. Now we have the full details for both!
Transformers: Energon - Shockblast Unleashed features episodes 21, 25, 26 & 28. The epic battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons rages on - and each side has a formidable new addition. True to his Autobot nature, Wingsaber embodies the idea of teamwork as he Powerlinks with Optimus Prime. Meanwhile, Shockblast has escaped from his prison cell on Cybertron and is wreaking havoc in the name of the Decepticons - but his real goal is to steal the throne from Megatron...
- "Shockblast: Rampage" With the Autobots in pursuit, Shockblast makes contact with Megatron and is able to breach the Energon Grid.
- "Open Fire!" Megatron and Optimus Prime are set to face off in a final showdown - until Shockblast interferes.
- "Ripped Up Space" In an attempt to regain control of Unicron, Megatron accidentally causes an explosion that rips a hole right through the very fabric of the Universe!
- "Protection" On the other side of the rip, the Autobots must now defend a whole new set of planets, and Wingsaber finally gets the chance to re-capture his prisoner.
Transformers: Energon - Omega Supreme features episodes 34, 35, 36, 37! The legendary battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons continues - and the Decepticons seem to have the advantage. With mighty Unicron under his control, Megatron is bent on conquering the Universe. Just when all seems lost, the Autobots receive help from an unexpected source - Omega Supreme! The ancient guardian, slumbering for eons, has been re-awakened to assist Optimus Prime in defending the Universe...
- "Crash Course" The Autobots enjoy a rare moment of rest and relaxation and Dr. Jones witnesses something amazing!
- "Omega Supreme" The sleeping giant is awake and ready to help, just when the Autobots need it the most...
