A couple of months ago
the news about Transformers Armada was this:
...before the end of this year we will be able to buy DVD releases of Transformers Armada Volume 1 and Transformers Armada Volume 2. Each will be a 1-disc release with a list price of $14.95.
Unconfirmed rumors since then said that these releases had been cancelled, having been removed from all listings shown through the end of this year. Our best efforts to get information from Rhino didn't yield any results.
Today one of our e-tailer partners, DVDEmpire.com, has the answer to the question. Showing a street date of March 2, 2004, DVDEmpire now has listings for
Transformers Armada: Best Battles and
Transformers Armada: Flashbacks. As with the previous information, these are list-priced at $14.95 each and seem to be single-disc releases. No other information is available at this time, from the e-tailer or from the studio. However, DVDEmpire does show some cover art (albeit rather on the small side):
