Trading Spaces - Whoa...*3* Kinds Of Box Art For Trading Spaces - The Specials?!?

Whichever One Is 'Right', This DVD Ships On March 4th

Late last year, between Christmas and New Year Day, we posted the news that March 4th will see TLC and Genius Entertainment release Trading Spaces - The Specials, timed to commemorate the return of host Paige Davis to the show's new broadcasts. We had all the release details for you at the time, but not cover art. We said we hope to have it soon, and we've literally been watching for it daily.

Yesterday we finally got that box art, but not just one version of it. In a strange twist, we got THREE different variations of the cover all within a few hours!! One is from a trade advertisement that's being put into one or more of the industry periodicals (possibly Video Business or Home Media Magazine, for example. That's the one seen first when you scroll down, with Paige in an orange top, jeans and holding a paintbrush. Note, though, that the trade ad mentions that this one is "subject to change."

A similar version of that one is currently seen at Amazon's pre-order listing, with more of Paige's bluejean-clad legs shown and the paintbrush now painting part of the title. We show that one second in line, below. But the bottom one was provided to us from distributor Genius Entertainment, and we expect it to be the FINAL package art from this release. Paige is still on a ladder, but this time in a more business-looking picture with a blue sweater and black slacks, with no paintbrush in site. All indications are that this is the finished version, which is too bad because it's not as fun-looking as the first one. But this is a good look at how these things evolve over the course of production set-up. Enjoy!
