At the beginning of this month we
posted an update about Troma's
Complete Toxic Avenger box set, now set - at last, after several delays - to come out on
April 29th. In that story, we showed how conflicting info in various places was casting doubt on whether or not the 13 episodes from
The Toxic Crusaders: The Animated Series are going to be found in that set.
We wrote to Troma asking for an answer, but did not get a response. However, the question has evidently been resolved by Troma themselves, via an online ad they placed at selected sites (such as the website of trade magazine
Video Business. It shows the April 29th release date, for a 7-DVD set that includes "the never-before-released complete 13 episode collection of the
Toxic Crusaders animated series"...so that seems to be settled.
