Tour of Duty - The Complete 3rd Season has been annouced this morning by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, marking the release of the final season of this show depicting infantrymen in the Vietnam War. Stars included Terence Knox, Kim Delaney, and Kevin Conroy (the voice of "Batman" in many recent cartoon incarnations, beginning with
Batman: The Animated Series). The show also regularly featured great guest stars, and in this last year of the show you can look for a young Greg Germann (
Ally McBeal) to show up a few times, and also for Lee Majors II, son of a certain Bionic actor, to appear in an episode near the end of the season.
This 5-DVD set will fire off on
July 5th, running 970 minutes for 21 episodes. $49.95 is the list price, but you can pre-order it right now for $34.97 from
