Alert readers have known
since last August that the 2nd season of
Tour of Duty would hit DVD on
December 28th. This is the season where Kim Delaney (Emmy-award-winning actress from
NYPD Blue) joined the cast as a wire service correspondent. The 2nd year culminates in a season-ender that guest-stars both Malcolm-Jamal Warner and Angela Bassett.
Today Columbia has officially announced
Tour of Duty - The Complete 2nd Season as a 4-disc set that will sell for $49.95 SRP. Running 745 minutes, you'll find that the episodes will be the sole reason to get this set. The only extras are promotional trailers for other Columbia releases. Here's the cover art for you, plus a thumbnail look at the menu screens for all four discs:
