Columbia TriStar is planning to move the troops out this June when
Tour of Duty: Season 1 is released on DVD. This Emmy-nominated series first aired in September, 1987 and lasted for 3 seasons (58 episodes).
The show illustrates the human side of war by focusing on Company B, a group of men stationed in Vietnam in 1967. Led by Sgt. Zeke Anderson (Terence Knox), the men must wage war on the enemy while trying not to be killed themselves. The series also stars Stephen Caffrey (Lt. Myron Goldman), Tony Becker (Pvt. Daniel 'Danny' Purcell), Ramón Franco (Pvt. Alberto Ruiz) and Miguel A. Núñez Jr. (Pvt. Marcus Taylor).
