A few weeks ago we
posted a story that the BBC America Website was stating that we would see DVDs of
Torchwood - Series 1 on
January 8th. That listing for the
Doctor Who spin-off starring John Barrowman as the charismatic "Captain Jack Harkness" still shows that release date, even though a few days later we
posted an update, because the BBC had informed us the date was not correct, and that the release date had yet to be finalized.
Late yesterday we learned that the January 8th release date IS correct after all. We've also learned separately that this is planned to be a 7-disc set running about 10 hours, and presented in Widescreen. No other details are available yet, nor is cover art. But stay tuned and we'll keep you informed!
