A couple of weeks ago we
reported that the BBC had confirmed a
January 8th release date for
Torchwood - Series 1 on DVD. The 7-disc set will go for $79.98 SRP. Now the folks over at the Sci Fi Wire, a news service of The Sci Fi Channel, has

Our thanks to reader Josh Freeling for the heads-up about this. We've also learned that the running time will be about 10 hours, and that the episodes will be closed captioned for the hearing impaired. We're still waiting on the final box art for this release, so stay tuned for that!
