Several weeks ago we
reported that
Torchwood - Miracle Day on DVD and high-def Blu-ray Disc hadn't been formally announced yet, but that both versions are
up for pre-order at Amazon.com, showing package art for both 4-disc sets (below) and pricing of $49.98 SRP for the DVDs and $59.98 SRP for the BDs (the big e-tailer discounts these heavily, of course). However, there's no official street date for these items, since we're waiting on the official BBC release information. Now our gratitude to one of our readers, Raely Qiu, who has alerted us that the latest BBC America Shop print catalog arrived in the mailbox, and that inside that magazine is an ad for
Torchwood - Miracle Day in the USA. The ad (displayed below, thanks to Raely 's scan) shows a
March 13th release date. Again, this hasn't been announced by the studio and so it could very well be an early planned date that's subject to change. Considering how close this date is without a formal announcement, our guess is that it may have already moved. But stay tuned, of course, and we'll let you know when the BBC makes it official.
