Back in February we
reported that Image Entertainment and the Discovery Channel are bringing you their
June 9th releases, on DVD and Blu-ray Disc, of
Time Warp. Each 2-disc set contains 19 episodes (440 minutes), plus the Blu-ray release also exclusively contains the pilot episode of this new series (additional 22 minutes, for a total of 462). Episodes are presented in widescreen, with English Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo Sound. Cost is $24.98 SRP for the standard
DVD release, and the list price has apparently gone up a bit, to $34.98 SRP, for the
high-def Blu-ray (but both can be pre-ordered at a discount using the just-supplied Amazon links). We now have package art, seen below, for both of these. Yes we do realize that the BD version says "2
DVD Set" in the burst at the bottom left of the front. We've informed Image that they may want to change that to say "2 Disc Set" or "2 BD Set," etc.; hopefully they'll correct that one before it ships!
