The Time Tunnel - Stay Out Of The Water; We're Actually 'Voyaging' Down A Time Tunnel Next!

At the end of last month we told you to prepare to "Go On A Second DVD Voyage This Spring," explaining that our industry sources had predicted a "May or June" release of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea - Season 1, Vol 2. Um, wrong Irwin Allen show!

That voyage will actually be down a Time Tunnel instead, we've learned from the same sources, when the second volume set of the classic show starring Robert Colbert and James Darren hits store shelves. This will have the other 15 episodes of the thirty-episode run of the show, so it would again be a 4-DVD set that probably has a $39.98 SRP like the first volume.

Since the majority of Fox Home Entertainment's May schedule has already been announced, it is more likely that Time Tunnel - Volume 2 will arrive in June. Stay tuned and we'll keep you informed about this release.

As for the next release of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, it's still very much likely to be on the books. This isn't a reversal for those fans; it's correcting the name of the item from our previous news. TVShowsOnDVD regrets the error, and we hope nobody's upset. It is one of the dangers of passing along early and "unofficial" information that on occasion there will be a mistake. We all thought it was strange that the first release of Voyage was *after* the first release of Time Tunnel, but that Voyage was getting its second release sooner. As it turns out, we were right to trust our instincts about that concern. A 2nd Volume of Voyage is still certain to be in the works, though, so just sit tight and we'll bring you info about that as soon as we can!
