Even though Amazon.com's pre-order listing for Three's Company - Season 8 still shows "October 10th", Anchor Bay is listing the release date for this 4-DVD set now as October 3rd. They have provided the official announcement for this release, including front and rear cover art. The latter confirms the extras we've already reported:
  • "John Ritter: Working with a Master": A new tribute to John Ritter, with never-before-seen-interviews with the cast and crew of Three's Company, plus outrageous clips from the show!
  • "Usted Habla Three's Company?"
  • Never-Before-Seen Bloopers from the Final 3 Seasons
  • The Best of Jack: Season 8
  • The Best of Janet: Season 8
  • The Best of Terry: Season 8
  • The Best of Furley: Season 8
  • The Best of Larry: Season 8

The Final Season Is Full Of Outrageous Fun, Sexy Surprises And Exclusive New Extras!

It's the unforgettable concluding season that began with Jack (Emmy winner John Ritter) narrowly escaping marriage and children and ended with the finale in which he proposes to the woman he loves. In between, there were plenty of mistaken identities, sexual shenanigans, falls over furniture and even a visit from Jack's dad! But why are Janet (Joyce DeWitt) and Larry (Richard Kline) pretending to be French? How far will Terri (Priscilla Barnes) go to get a promotion? What happens when Jack and Mr. Furley (Don Knotts) get locked in the freezer? How did Jack get a tattoo on his derriere? And who is 'Grandma Tripper' and why is she being forced to bake cookies? Joanna Kerns, Rita Wilson, Mary Cadorette, Dick Shawn, Lana Clarkson and Robert Mandan co-star in these 21 episodes, including the double-length concluding episode, that bid a final farewell to the hilarious and beloved sitcom that changed television forever!

Running time is 550 minutes. The SRP is $29.98, but you can pre-order it from Amazon at the link above for $19.99 (and they'll surely adjust their date soon to match Anchor Bay's announced street date). Here's the cover art:
