The miniseries adaptation of the acclaimed novel by James A. Michener finally returns to DVD for the FIRST TIME ON DVD SINCE 2001! Newly enhanced and looking better than ever, James A. Michener's Texas is a 3-hour miniseries following the exploits of revolutionaries Sam Houston, Stephen Austin, and Davy Crockett as they fight for the Independence of Texas.

Executive Producer: Aaron Spelling. Narrated by Charlton Heston. Starring Patrick Duffy ("Dallas," "Step by Step"), Rick Schroeder ("Silver Spoons," "NYPD Blue"), Benjamin Bratt ("Law & Order"), Randy Travis (Country Music Star), Grant Show ("Melrose Place"), Stacy Keach (American History X), David Keith (An Officer and a Gentleman, U-571), and Anthony Michael Hall (The Breakfast Club, The Dark Knight).
The other day we reported that James A. Michener's Texas, the 1994 mini-series based on his novel, is being re-released on DVD May 7th by CBS/Paramount in a newly remastered version. At the time package art wasn't available, but now we've got a look at it for you hombres:
