A couple of weeks ago we
reported that Alliance Home Media's DVD release in Canada of
TekWar - The Complete Series, originally announced for June 13th, had been delayed by the studio until August 10th. Now the studio has pushed it back again, rescheduling it for
August 31st now. No reason for the change was provided. Fans have been hoping that the extra time needed might mean that this release would include the 4 telefilms which preceded the regular weekly run of 18 episodes. However, with the new date from Alliance came the studio description below. As you can see, it ONLY mentions the 18 regular episodes; nothing in that text refers to the original 4 "pilot" telefilms. Darn it. If you're still interested in the release, though, you can
pre-order it from Amazon.ca (they are stilling showing the original date, but we don't expect it to ship until the end of August, per Alliance's new information). Package art hasn't been made available so far, but we're keeping an eye out for it. so stay tuned.
