Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Cover Art & Episode Info For Vol. 3.7: Hun On The Run ***UPDATED***

In our recent news post about Vol. 3.7 of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, we passed on info about how there were now pre-order listings at retailers like Amazon.com for Hun on the Run, a May 16th release. We also pointed out (possibly too subtly, as we've gotten confused e-mail from some readers) how the information at the official Mirage TMNT site for Vol. 3.7 was now totally mistaken, containing a date, title and list of episodes which doesn't match any of the retailer information. That info at the Mirage site still hasn't been updated as of this writing.

Amazon now has the cover art shown below, which mentions that there will be 6 episodes on here. While they don't list the episode titles, fans can figure it out based on the descriptions provided at Amazon. So all of this information is coming from there, and we won't attempt to interpret it, just convey it:
Hun is a man on a mission. In order to save himself he must first save the Shredder's daughter, Karai, from the clutches of the mysterious Bishop, a black ops agent with an even blacker heart. However, unknown to Hun, brilliant mad genius Baxter Stockman, seeking revenge on Hun, anonymously clues the Turtles into Huns plans, hopefully sabotaging the mission so that neither Hun nor Karai will come back alive. This action-packed TMNT DVD also features Mikey defending his BattleNexus championship, an alien invasion that's not what it appears to be, the hero known only as Nobody, and the Ruse of the Purple Dragons.

UPDATE: CORRECTION/RETRACTION (3/6)
When we posted this story, and the previous story as well, we indicated that the website which had the incorrect information about the TMNT - Vol. 3.7 DVD was "4Kid's official TMNT site". 4Kids has written to us, pointing out that we were mistaken in this regard and that the site we indicated and linked to (NinjaTurtles.com) was not a 4Kids site, but rather is the site of Mirage Studios (owners of TMNT and all characters).

Our apologies to 4Kids for the mistaken identity; the home page of NinjaTurtles.com sports a 4Kids logo near the top, and that's what steered us wrong. TVShowsOnDVD regrets the error. We certainly should have read the fine print, as we always encourage everybody to do. Our intent was not to blame 4Kids, Mirage or any other entity, but rather to alert readers who have written in to us saying that they are depending on the information at that site and let them know that the info there did not match what is listed at the online retailers. Hopefully 4Kids and Funimation understands that our intent was to make sure that consumers of the TMNT DVDs were aware of the accurate information about the contents of the Vol. 3.7 release.
