You mean you haven't sprung for a set of
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles action figures yet for the young (or young-at-heart)
TMNT fan in your life? Well, if you like DVDs, then you might want to wait a little bit longer.
Playmates Toys will be re-issuing the four main Turtle figures with bonus DVDs shortly. Each DVD will contain a single episode of the 2003 animated series of the show. Playmates hasn't issued a formal press release, so all we have to go on are the pics and info that we obtained from
the official TMNT website, and is shown among the "2004 Toy Catalog" items there.
Leonardo and Donatello (top two) will apparently each come with a DVD of the first-season episode "Garbageman", which is already available on the
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Volume 3: The Way Of Invisibility DVD release. Raphael and Michelangelo (bottom two) seem to be set to arrive with the Season 1 show "Darkness on the Edge of Town", which you already have if you own the
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Volume 2: Meet Casey Jones disc. Here's a look at them:

Some of the other toys shown in the 2004 catalog - like the plush dolls - are already on store shelves. So keep a hot eye out for these, because it probably won't be long before you can get them. Expect them to be priced similarly to the same action figures sold without the DVDs.
