After providing
a ton of bonus material for the Season 1 DVDs, Warner Home Video has scaled back drastically on the extras for
Teen Titans - The Complete 2nd Season set. In fact, the upcoming
September 26th release -
advertised in Warner's announcement as having "Bombastic Bonuses" - provides just a single supplement, according to the back of the box (shown below)!
That supplement is "Catching Up With...
Teen Titans: Inside Season 2", and is basically a recap of the 13 second-season episodes that you're going to watch anyway. Here's Warner's description of that featurette:
Get The back story on your favorite group of teenaged super heroes and check out what friends, foes, and fights they have had in Season Two
Whew, that sure left us deflated! Well, at least we know we'll enjoy the episodes, featuring "friend or foe?" Terra, who's story was a hit in the comic books. There are 7 episodes on this release that haven't previously made it to DVD (which is probably why the studio decided that extras weren't needed to motivate fans to pay for the season set).
