In the second half of 2004 we were pleased to bring you
news that Roald Dahl's U.K. series
Tales of the Unexpected was coming to DVD, with the first two seasons of the show's 9-year run. In the early part of 2005, Acorn Media continued the run with their
announcement for the second set of the program, comprising the 3rd and 4th seasons of the show...all except for three episodes. No worries, though, because Acorn has now set up the release of the 3rd Set, and it contain the missing three installments, plus all eighteen installments of the fifth season.
September 27th is the street date for this 3-DVD set, which lists for $39.99 for 525 minutes (21 episodes). You can
pre-order it from Amazon.com for just $29.99, however. There's lots of macabre fun to be had once more, with another large range of guest stars including such big names as Jennifer Connelly, Ian Holm, Frank Sinatra Jr., Janet Leigh, and Tom Bosley.
