Last year at this time, kaBoom! Entertainment
put out a Canadian DVD release of
Tales from the Cryptkeeper - Pleasant Screams: The Complete 1st Season. This animated series had two seasons in 1993 and 1994, respectively, and then took a few years off before a final season appeared to finish up the shows run under the title "
New Tales from the Cryptkeeper." Fans have been wondering if the final two seasons would make it to DVD, and now it looks like these will indeed be continued!
Amazon's Canadian branch has posted
a pre-order listing for
Tales from the Cryptkeeper - Season 2. The entry shows it will release in just ten days, on
September 16th, at a cost of CA$22.99 SRP. However, if you order it now, as of this writing the discounted price at Amazon.ca is just $16.09 (subject to change without notice). Neither Amazon nor kaBoom! Entertainment has any further details at this time. Our thanks to the unnamed reader who tipped us off about this item.
