Survivor - Paramount reveals complete list of extras, acknowledges delay

Posted by David Lambert
Not too terribly long after our mid-November news with the cover art for Survivor - The Australian Outback: The Complete 2nd Season, Paramount/CBS verified that the rumored March release date was what they were planning on. We held off talking about it here, though, because we had already told our readers to expect that date, and we mainly wanted to wait until we had the complete list of extras for the release. After all, we knew there would be extras after TVShowsOnDVD owner Gord Lacey ran into Colby on an airplane in October.

Late last week, Gord followed up on this with Paramount, and not only got the complete list of extras, but confirmed rumors we had started to hear about a delay of the DVDs from mid-March to late April. Paramount acknowledged that the new street date is April 26th.

Here's the complete list of contents:
  • 15 Episodes, including double-length finale
  • Reunion & Home from the Outback
  • Commentary on 6 episodes
  • Featurettes:
    • "Surviving the Aussie Outback"
    • "The Luxury Items"
    • "Dining - Survivor Style"
    • "Keith's Paella"
So the entire run is there this time, including the special that aired after the finale (and the reunion after the finale). Nice! Here's another look at the cover art for you:
