After releasing CBS's great Survivor series 3 times on DVD, Paramount Home Entertainment is about to release the 4th set in a few weeks, and now appears to be gearing up to release the 5th DVD set in the series. After Survivor - 01: Borneo, Survivor - 08: All-Stars, Survivor - 02: Australian Outback and the upcoming Feb. 7th release of Survivor - 07: Pearl Islands, it seems that Survivor - 10: Palau will be the next edition of the popular show to head home. If true, then that breaks the established pattern of old-new-old-new with a second newer season in a row.
According to sources, Palau contestants Coby Archa and Wanda Shirk have stated that commentaries are being recorded now for an upcoming DVD set. We're told that it's been posted online how Coby and Wanda named Tom Westman, Katie Gallagher, Ian Rosenberger, Jennifer Lyon, Gregg Carey, Caryn Groedel, Stephanie LaGrossa and Bobby Jon Drinkard as other contestants from the Palau episodes who are recording commentary tracks for the extras on this set. That's the rumor we've been given, anyway...only time and official info will verify it Our thanks to little birdies Nick and Gary for whispering in our ear.
