This morning Universal is announcing the Surface - Season 1 set for release on August 15th. Yes, it says "Season 1" rather than "The Complete Series," because the show is officially on hiatus since finishing the first season this past February, and not actually canceled by NBC (though many think otherwise). The 15 episodes that aired will be on 4 DVDs packed in slim cases that slide into a slipcover box. Cost is $49.98 SRP. No other details are available so far, but we'll be back with specs, extras (if any), and cover art just as soon as we get them. Stay tuned!
