Mega-huge online retailer Amazon.com has jumped out in front and is already
taking pre-orders for
Supernatural - The Complete 3rd Season on DVD. The spooky part is that the studio, Warner Home Video, hasn't actually announced this release just yet, but is expected to in the not-too-distant future. As a result, Amazon doesn't list a release date...or any other info yet, except for a $59.98 SRP. But you can pre-purchase your copy now, and Amazon will "deliver it to you when it arrives."
The Amazon listing currently shows some customer-loaded box art, that is clearly taken from the U.K. release of the 4-disc set (note the red-and-white circular British rating code symbol on the bottom right). The folks at the LiveJournal blog "Supernatural_TV" have, a few weeks back,
posted a picture of the same art, minus the U.K. rating code, and they state that this is the USA version of the artwork. We've tried, without success, to get the studio to confirm that this is the final artwork for North America, so please note that it could be subject to change.
